QUALITY BRITISH CHEESE
Following the demise of the Derbyshire cheesemaking industry we have had to obtain our cheeses from further a field. We have tried to stick to our principles and will only ever stock British cheeses and where possible from small independant makers.
We have a core range of territorial and blue cheeses and then have one or two monthly specials.

Amongst our favourite monthly specials have been:
Blacksticks Blue: A unique soft blue veined cheese, handmade only by Butlers at Inglewhite Dairy in rural Lancashire. With a distinctive amber hue, Blacksticks Blue reveals a delicious creamy smooth yet tangy taste. Adding perfect colour to any cheese selection, this very special soft blue cheese is one of a kind - an upbeat British classic that is truly different to other blue cheeses.
Smelly A'peth: A good-natured Blue Lancashire cheese with a very smooth, creamy texture and a mellow, gentle bite.
Hereford Hop: A vegetarian round cheese made from cow's milk. The hops are crunchy, with the slightly yeasty taste associated with beer, while the cheese is mellow, sweet and buttery.
Hunstman: The marriage of two delicious British classics; Double Gloucester and Blue Stilton, brought together through a complex layering process. Creamy, forceful Stilton is sandwiched between an exterior of mellow, Double Gloucester. The result is an excellent flavor combination that is as delicious as it is beautiful.
Herb & Garlic Whirl: Creamy Red Leicester with flecks of herbs and a touch of garlic, cream cheese surrounds the centre in a whirl of excitement, creating a smooth outer case and a tasty centre.
Harlech: A mature Welsh Cheddar flavoured with fresh horseradish and parsley. Harlech cheese is coated in a distinctive bright orange waxed cover.Made with pasteurised cows milk and suitable for vegetarians
